DataPath Administrative Services

DataPath Administrative Services, or DPAS, is an "Employee Benefit Delivery Organization" established to provide administrative services to employees in the state of Arkansas. Those services include administration for Cafeteria Plans, COBRA, Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Assistance Program, Parking & Transportation, Health Reimbursement Arrangements and of course Health Savings Accounts.

DPAS was selected as the administrator for the HSA and will provide certain services to the Public School and State Employees.

Those services include:

Certify the compliance of the HSA PPO plan in accordance to the IRS regulations
Establish the HSA at the custodial bank, National Advisors Trust Company, FSB.
Manage the monthly contributions to your HSA
Inform you of any anticipated "Excess Contributions"
Provide Internet access to HSA balances
Facilitate disbursements from your HSA electronically or by manual process
Certify the compliance of your monthly contributions

Please note that the State of Arkansas is paying your HSA administration fees for you. However, because an HSA is similar to a regular bank account, certain bank fees will apply. These fees, including a one-time set-up fee and a monthly custodian fee, are currently being negotiated at a discounted rate for state employees.
