Arkansas State Employees - Contribution Requirements & Limits

Effective January 1, 2009 - December 31, 2010

If you elect the HSA PPO offered by NovaSys Health, you can make contributions to an HSA account on a Pre-Tax basis so that you can benefit from the reduction of Federal, State and other payroll taxes.

This table below assumes participation for a full 12 months. Exceptions exist for employees who enroll in the HSA PPO at a time other than the open enrollment period in October.

An additional annual contribution of $1000 per year is allowed for any individual or dependent that is 55 years of age or older. Individuals that are enrolled in Medicare may not contribute to an HSA.
