Can I have an HSA & FSA?

  • It depends.

    • You can have both an HSA and an FSA if you participate in a "limited purpose" FSA that restricts reimbursements to certain permitted benefits such as vision, dental, or preventive care benefits. The state cafeteria plan and MOST school districts are offering that option.

    • Also note that you cannot be covered by your
      spouse's insurance.
